Laws That Work

Spiritual Laws Work

Someone made the statement that those who say they can and those who say can’t are both right, regarding any situation.

One must learn how to operate in the power of God’s Word and the Law of Faith. Everyone should have the understanding concerning natural laws, like the Law of Gravity. Regardless of your belief the law still works. What goes up will come down….There are those who say it does not apply to them, so they are foolish enough to jump off a building and they discover that gravity works every time. The law of gravity works when it’s cold and it works when it’s hot. It works when the wind is blowing and when it is not blowing. It works when it’s raining and when it is dark, it is because it is a fixed law of God. No matter what you do it will produce the same thing every time.

God’s Word is a spiritual law which works when you apply it properly to your situation. But sometimes we make up our own rules and speak things that we don’t mean. “Well, I said that, but I really didn’t mean it. I did say we are going bankrupt, but God knows what I mean. Here is another example: You go to the phone and say, I am going to call my mom on the phone.  Then you dial four or five numbers correctly and the remainder is dialed incorrectly. Naturally, you will get another person, but you say: Oh, well, the phone company knows what I meant. Why did this happen? You didn’t follow the phone companies instructions.

Uncontrolled Power Will Kill

One must realize that natural laws have rules and regulations that determine the outcome. The same applies to Spiritual Laws, we must operate within the Spiritual Laws established by God. Look at Electricity, there certain safety rules which will say your life. If you violate these rules the electricity may kill you or injure you. It will heat your home, cook your food, and wash your clothes. Electricity is wonderful to have around. But the same force, which can do so much good for you, will destroy you and your possessions if it is not controlled.

Proverbs 18: 21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue……Do you remember the old adage, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”. This simply is not true, words can build you up or they can destroy your self-esteem. Look at the youth of today, bullies on social media have caused some to commit suicide. Words carry great weight, even in business. Contracts are written to such a degree that a person can enter into bondage financially.

Binding or Loosing

The Spiritual world is also controlled by words. Jesus gave Peter some insight concerning the Kingdom of God, the key is in Matthew 16:19:

19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose (declare lawfully) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.     (AMP)

With words, you can bind things or lose things. Sometimes you may feel you are doing something honest, but in reality, you are loosing the Devil against your finances by saying things like: “Well, we never get ahead” or If I ever get a job, I will lose it”. Words like these will give the Devil permission to do what you said, because of the authority of your words.  In the Word of God says:

“Whatever you do will prosper, and no weapon formed against you will prosper. If you give it will be given unto to you good measure,  pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give unto you. You have favor with men and God.

                                                                                                                                                                                             (Ps. 1:3; Is. 54:17; Luke 6:38; Acts 2:47)

That is what God says about your finances, but when you say nothing works or it always blows up in my face: that is exactly what you will get. When you speak God’s Word, a force is released which is called “faith”. The Word of God says in Hebrews11:1:

1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

This faith comes from the Word of God which contains the necessary faith within it. Just like the corn seed has the necessary attributes to produce a corn stock which brings forth corn. Faith is in the seed. Just like the corn seed, you cannot see the corn, but yet you believe that when the seed goes into the ground, the dirt will provide the nutrients necessary to bring forth the blade, then the stock and finally the corn.

27And then (The Farmer) continues sleeping and rising night and day while the seed sprouts and grows and increases–he knows not how. 28The earth produces [acting] by itself–first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. 29But when the grain is ripe and permits, immediately he sends forth [the reapers] and puts in the sickle because the harvest stands ready.

This is how faith works. Everyone has been given a Measure of Faith which God uses to draw you to himself and to Jesus. Look at Romans 12:3,…..God hath dealt to every man the measure of faithEveryone has this Measure of Faith, that is how the natural and spiritual laws work. If you say, I’ll never get a job: you will get what you say because faith kicks in and it produces what you said. This force works every time, whether be a positive or negative word.

Faith in God comes by hearing the Word of God; likewise, faith in the Devil comes from the force called fear. Fear is the counterpart of faith. Remember you have Good and Evil, Faith and Fear, Life and Death, Abundance and Lack, etc…… Which do you want? It is up to you and the words which you speak.  Here is an example: In the Book of Job, chapter 3, verse 25; we see this law in action:

25For the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me, and that which I was afraid of has come unto me. 26I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet, yet trouble came.

It was fear which caused trouble to come upon him, read the whole book of Job to get a better understanding. We need to control the words which come out of our mouths, God created man with the ability to operate on His level of faith. Jesus said in Mark 9:23,

…….. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” All things are possible with God, so speak God’s Word and believe, release your faith and develop yourself in the God-kind of Faith.

Be a Doer, Not just a hearer

You must do what God’s Word says….it take more than just saying, it is in God’s Word. You must be a doer of His Word. The Kingdom of God is as if a man cast seed onto the ground. You must sow to see a harvest. According to God’s Word, the seed has no choice but to produce a harvest. It is God’s Promise! If you will sow the seed, you will eventually receive a harvest.  from the Law of Seed-time and Harvest. This Law will always produce the same result when it is applied according to the rules which have been established.
